"Mommy and Me"

I took the kids to "Mommy and Me" trick or treating at Congressional Plaza in Rockville. I even let Tay skip school (partly because I would have had trouble making it back in time to pick her up). Many of the stores were giving out treats, and there were lots of other free activities for the kids.

"Buzz" and "Woody" - not our official costumes, but I didn't want the boys to destroy their lion and monkey before Halloween.

My little Dorothy

She really wanted me to take her picture with this...

Tay got a free ice cream cone, she was very careful not to get any on her dress.

Cole, not so careful to keep the Mac and cheese off his costume :)

Jumbo's Pumpkin Patch

We took the kids to Jumbo's Pumpkin patch in Frederick. We met Jon, Nicole, and Evie there. This was a new choice for us, in past years we have taken the kids to Larriland Farms in Woodbine, but we enjoyed Jumbo's very much, and may make it our new tradition.

It was sunny out, so it looked like it was going to be a nice day. It was CRAZY windy, so it ended up being pretty chilly.

There were two little pigs smuggled together keeping warm in the corner, then a third came over ans squished his way in between. It reminded me of Danny when I'm cuddling with Tay.

My little pumpkin in the pumpkin patch. :)

Taylor really wanted to ride the pony. I'm allergic, so I often try to discourage them... but she really wanted to. It wouldn't have been so bad if I had taken her clothes and washed them as soon as we got home. Instead I left them in the laundry basket overnight. I couldn't understand why my eyes were all itchy and I couldn't breathe.

The boys were more interested in what Taylor was doing than in looking at the camera.

My itsy bitsy spider :)

Evie on the tractor.

My favorite part of Jumbo's was the free hayrides! If it wasn't so windy we would have rode around all day. They also had a HUGE straw maze that we will have to try when the kids are a little older.

Paul and Kelly's Wedding

Danny the dancing fool!
Cake : the reason my kids agree to sit still during the wedding.

Mr. and Mrs. Rosendall

He is very serious about his dancing. He didn't want anyone to touch him, or dance with him. He was all business, getting his dance on!

They had a photo booth, Taylor's new favorite thing in the whole wide world! :) This is her patiently waiting for one of her MANY pictures to come out.

Cole napping on Grandma.

Uncle Sean chasing this kids on the Golf course, moments before the country club scolded us for being out there. (we were just running around, and there weren't any signs)

Bye, Bye, Jenny and Greg!

Jenny and Greg are moving to Germany for 3 years (hopefully no more than that). Greg finished his PhD and got a job in Munich, and Jenny will be substitute teaching while there. Dawn and Chris had a goodbye dinner at their house so we could get together one last time and say goodbye.
